Classes are located at Crescent Collective. 1800 Decatur St, Richmond, VA 23224

Where do I Park?
There is a small parking lot that's accessible from 18th street. If the parking lot is full, there is plenty of nearby street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

What Should I Wear?
Wear something comfortable and easy to move around in like a t-shirt, tank top and stretch pants. Feel free to dance in bare feet, socks, ballet slippers or non-marking rubber-soled jazz shoes.
 

What if there is Bad Weather?
We will post on social media and email students if class is canceled due to bad weather. We follow Richmond City Public School closings. 
 

What if I am Sick?
If you are not feeling well it is important you stay home and rest! Registered students have access to a video recording of each class so you don't have to worry about missing out.

 

Do I need to wear a mask?
Masks are optional. Crescent Collective is spacious, allowing for physical distancing, as needed. If you are not feeling well, please stay home!
 

Do you have Scholarship Opportunities?
Yes. At Electric Nomad, we believe deeply that income should not be a barrier to dance. Scholarship opportunities are available for each session. Please email radical.shimmies@gmail.com to learn more. 
 

What is Electric Nomad?
Electric Nomad is a dance hive comprised of dancers, artists, educators, parents, makers, movers, and activists who support inclusive art focused on building community and empowering one another. Dance teaches people how to work together while building strong bodies and spirits, alive with expression and universal truths. We welcome and encourage a diversity of ethnicity, gender expression, age, body, and ability at Electric Nomad. We believed that the common threads between us all, such as art, dance, music, food, and celebration are the foundations of positive togetherness. We believe that our shared human experiences can build empathy, love, and a brighter future for everyone!
